is a unique online intranet show from IBF. Going out live on the first Tuesday of every month, it’s unmissable for anyone who works with intranets, portals and information workplaces.
You’ll see the pictures on your screen and hear the audio through speakers or a headset. The programme is interactive and involves the audience as much as possible. During the programme we encourage you to ask questions and participate in polls and competitions using the Q&A panel on your Webex console. You can also come onto the programme and ask questions in person.
Why do we love June? Because it means a
SharePoint special edition of IBF Live, that’s why! Please plan to join Paul
Miller, IBF Live host and CEO of Intranet Benchmarking Forum, along with guest
host Bert Sandie, Director of Technical Excellence at Electronic Arts (EA), for a deep dive into some of the most exciting
SharePoint intranets we’ve seen to date.
We’ll kick it off with a live tour of the
intranet at SWIFT (The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial
Telecommunication). Based in Belgium, SWIFT operates a worldwide financial
messaging network that exchanges messages between banks and other financial
institutions. The intranet team has built a remarkable skills finder application
on top of their SharePoint intranet that lets project managers easily tap in to
the right talent at the right time and right location.
Then we pass the baton to Andrew Urbanski
at St. Jude Medical, Inc., a $16 billion (market cap) global medical device
company, with headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. The company
sells products in more than 100 countries and has over 20 operations and
manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Rounding out the line-up is Dave Nelson
from Deluxe Corporation, one of the two largest check printers in the United
States, providing various personalized products and services to small
businesses, financial institutions, and consumers. Dave will tell us about his
highly sensible -- and successful -- SharePoint governance program that he
rolled out across the organization.
Finally, calling all intranets -
Amy Schade from the Nielsen
Norman Group, is looking for the best intranets for the
Intranet Design Annual 2012. Join us to hear Amy talk about the submission process,
and what it takes to win this prestigious award.
